**Before installation, clean the bearings, connecting rod bores, and crankshaft journals, ensuring they are free of oil and burrs.** Cold press the bearings into the connecting rod bores with a pressure ≤35kN; do not strike.

The bearings should have an interference fit with the connecting rod bores, with radial runout ≤0.015mm, and a clearance of 0.025-0.045mm with the crankshaft journals.

After installation, check that the bearing end face fits snugly against the connecting rod without any gap, and that the connecting rod swings smoothly without any jamming. Add engine oil according to the engine manual.

Use a dedicated puller for disassembly to avoid bearing deformation or damage to the connecting rod bores. Replacement is recommended in pairs (within the same cylinder).
