Assembly and Fit: The inner ring has an interference fit with the shaft (interference 0.012-0.020 mm), and the outer ring has a transition fit with the housing (clearance 0.005-0.010 mm). After the preload shim is installed, the bearing clearance is controlled at 0.02-0.04 mm. Use a special press to cold-press it into place during installation to avoid damaging the raceway with impact.
Installation and Maintenance Points: Before installation, clean the inner and outer rings, journal, and bearing bore in the housing. Check for cracks, pitting, and rust. Replace the seals and apply Cat-specific grease (2V lithium-based grease, filling 1/3-1/2 of the bearing’s internal space).
During assembly, first install the inner ring + roller assembly, then install the preload shim, and finally press in the outer ring and preload it using the end cap bolts (torque 180-220 N·m). Ensure the axial preload is sufficient to prevent excessive bearing clearance from causing vibration or insufficient clearance from causing overheating.
Maintenance recommendations: Check bearing temperature (≤80℃) and vibration value (≤2.5 mm/s) every 2000 hours. Replace immediately if abnormal noise, abnormal temperature rise or seal leakage occurs. Replenish grease regularly (every 800 hours, with a filling amount of about 0.2 kg each time).
