CAT 533-9333 sleeves are Caterpillar genuine heavy-duty precision bushings, adapted for the travel/drive systems of excavators, loaders, and other equipment. They are used for shaft positioning, bearing support, and load transfer, commonly found in final drives, wheel hubs, or gearbox outputs, ensuring stable component operation and assembly accuracy (Cat®…).
Core Technical Parameters
Item Details
Part Model: CAT 533-9333 Sleeve (Single component, not a set)
Material: Alloy steel (surface hardened + nitrided, HRC 58-62), suitable for heavy-duty, high-frequency impact, and dusty conditions
Key Dimensions: Inner diameter approx. 90-110mm, outer diameter approx. 120-140mm, length approx. 100-130mm (subject to actual product/manual), precise tolerances to ensure compatibility with shafts, bearings, and housings
Compatible Machines: Excavator 320D/336GC, Loader 950K/966M, Bulldozer D6N, etc., used for final drive spindles, wheel hub bearing seats, or gearbox output shaft sleeves
Performance Characteristics: High hardness and wear resistance, low coefficient of friction, suitable for high-frequency rotation and impact loads, precisely matches equipment shaft systems, preventing bearing displacement and component wear
Core Functions:
Bearing Positioning and Support: Precisely positions the bearing inner ring / The outer ring provides stable support, ensuring the rotational accuracy of the shaft system and preventing wear and jamming caused by bearing displacement.
Load transfer and distribution: Evenly transfers radial and axial loads, absorbs vibration, reduces stress concentration between the shaft and housing, and is suitable for heavy-load and impact conditions.
Assembly datum: Serves as the connection datum between the shaft, bearings, and housing, ensuring the coaxiality of all components, simplifying the installation process, and shortening maintenance time.
Installation and maintenance points:
Installation specifications: Clean the shaft, housing mounting holes, and sleeves to remove oil, rust, and impurities. Check that the shaft and holes are free of scratches and have acceptable ovality.
Use hot fitting (oil temperature 80-100℃) or cold pressing with special tooling for installation. Do not strike the sleeve body. After installation, check the coaxiality (≤0.05mm) to ensure there is no misalignment.
Tighten the matching bolts (if applicable) according to the torque requirements in the equipment manual. After installation, apply the specified grease (e.g., lithium-based grease). Maintenance Recommendations: Inspect the sleeve every 800-1200 working hours for wear and cracks, and check for abnormal noises during bearing operation.
If excessive wear (radial clearance > 0.5mm) or deformation is found on the sleeve, replace it immediately to prevent secondary damage to critical components such as shafts and bearings.
