CAT 535-6286 is a Caterpillar genuine SEM steel-backed composite bushing, suitable for articulations, swing arms, and other parts of graders and other equipment. It is used to bear radial loads, reduce friction, and position the shaft system. The following is pure original data and does not include replacement parts information.

Core Technical Parameters (Raw Data)

Item Details
Basic Attributes
Model 535-6286, Type SEM steel-backed composite bushing, Material carbon steel back + copper-lead alloy anti-friction layer, Single weight 0.92 kg, Suitable operating conditions: Radial load ≤120 kN, Speed ≤50 rpm, Operating temperature -40℃ to +120℃, Installation interference 0.12-0.18 mm, Used for hinge point/swing arm shaft support, Suitable for Cat 120 GC, 140 GC and other graders

Key Dimensions (Metric/Imperial)
Inner diameter 80.0 mm (3.150 in, tolerance H7), Outer diameter 100.0 mm (3.937 in, tolerance h6), Total length 100.0 mm (3.937 in, tolerance ±0.15 mm), Anti-friction layer thickness 0.8 mm, Steel back thickness 5.0 mm, Chamfered ends 1×45°, shaft clearance 0.08-0.12 mm

Performance Parameters: Anti-friction layer hardness HB 20-30, steel backing tensile strength ≥510 MPa, friction coefficient ≤0.12 (oil lubrication), resistance to neutral salt spray ≥480 h, bushing cylindricity ≤0.02 mm, withstands impact loads and vibrations, compatible with general-purpose lithium-based grease, no peeling or abnormal wear after long-term use.

Structure and Compatibility Characteristics:

Composite layer structure: Carbon steel backing provides rigidity and load-bearing capacity, copper-lead alloy anti-friction layer reduces friction and wear, suitable for low-speed, heavy-load, and frequent oscillation conditions, preventing shaft jamming and uneven wear.

Positioning and Buffering: Precise dimensions and interference fit ensure shaft coaxiality, absorb vibration and impact, protect shafts and supports, and extend the overall life of hinged parts.

Working Condition Adaptability: Resistant to common dust, mud, and temperature changes in construction machinery, suitable for dynamic working conditions such as grader articulated steering and blade swing arms, long maintenance cycle, and high reliability. Installation and Maintenance Points (Original Data)

Installation: Clean the support hole and the outer surface of the bushing. Press in using the cold pressing/hot fitting method (heating ≤120℃), ensuring the bushing end face is flush. Do not hammer directly into contact with the friction-reducing layer. After installation, check the roundness and cylindricity of the inner hole.

Maintenance: Replenish grease every 1000 hours. Check the clearance between the bushing and the shaft. Replace when the clearance exceeds 0.25 mm or when the friction-reducing layer peels off. For long-term storage, apply rust-preventive oil and seal to prevent oxidation of the friction-reducing layer.
