The CAT 536-2600 is a steel-backed composite straight bushing designed by Caterpillar for the hydraulic/drive system of SEM (Structural Electronic Module). It is mainly used in heavy-duty, low-speed swinging parts such as boom pivots and rocker arm joints of loaders and excavators. It is compatible with SEM series equipment and is a key component Cat® Parts that ensures the structural connection accuracy and wear resistance life. The following is structured technical and application information:

Core Technical Parameters

Item Details
Basic Attributes
Model 536-2600, Type: Straight cylindrical steel-backed composite bushing, Material: Steel backing + copper-lead alloy (CuPb10Sn10), Indium-plated surface, Single weight approximately 0.65 kg, Applicable temperature: -30℃ to +120℃, Recommended lubricant: Cat Moly Paste, Fit: Interference fit (Busset H7 / Shaft j6)

Key Dimensions
Inner diameter: 50 mm (Tolerance H7, Ra≤0.8 μm), Outer diameter: 65 mm (Tolerance g6), Length: 70 mm (Tolerance ±0.15 mm), Wall thickness: 7.5 mm, Chamfer at both ends: 2 mm × 45°, Inner hole cylindricity ≤0.006 mm, Coaxiality ≤0.012 mm, Installation interference: 0.018-0.032 mm

Compatible Models and Applications
Compatible with Cat SEM For 656D and 658D loaders, and 320D2 and 323D2 excavators, this Cat® Parts is used for boom pivot, rocker arm joint, and bucket linkage support. Supporting parts include pivot pins, thrust washers, and dust rings. Rated load capacity ≥280 MPa, fatigue life ≥8000 hours.

Performance Parameters: Steel backing tensile strength ≥900 MPa, alloy layer hardness HB80-105, coefficient of friction ≤0.09 (lubricated state), impact toughness ≥55 J/cm², corrosion resistance meets ISO 9227 neutral salt spray test ≥72 hours without red rust, alloy layer bonding strength ≥150 MPa.

Structural and Performance Advantages:
Composite wear-resistant structure: The steel backing provides high strength and rigidity, while the copper-lead alloy layer offers excellent friction reduction and embedding properties, suitable for heavy-duty impact conditions, effectively absorbing vibration, reducing wear on pins and bushings, and extending the life of mating parts.

Cat® Parts Precise Positioning: The inner bore is precision-machined with an H7 tolerance fit, ensuring connection accuracy, reducing radial runout, and improving equipment operational stability.

Easy Installation: Chamfered ends facilitate press-fitting; uniform wall thickness ensures balanced stress distribution; perfectly matches original Cat® Parts pivot pins, dust rings, and other accessories, reducing maintenance difficulty and costs.

Installation and Maintenance Points: Before installation, clean the inner and outer surfaces of the bushing and the mounting holes, checking for burrs and cracks; use press-fitting (pressure ≤12 kN, applied to the end face); do not strike the inner bore; after installation, the rear face runout should be ≤0.02 mm, rotation/oscillation should be smooth, and the fit clearance should meet design requirements.

Trial run for 30 minutes; bushing temperature ≤70℃, no abnormal noise or vibration; check wear and lubrication status every 400 hours, replenish grease every 800 hours; replace the bushing when the inner bore wear exceeds 0.25 mm.

When replacing, the original pivot pin must be matched to ensure the interference fit and tolerance, and avoid non-standard parts that may cause poor fit and premature failure.
