CAT 569-4230 is a Caterpillar single-row tapered roller bearing, suitable for heavy-duty axle systems such as drive axles and gearboxes in construction machinery like loaders and excavators. It can withstand both radial and unidirectional axial forces simultaneously. The following is structured and precise information.
Core Parameters (Professional Version)
Project Details
Basic Attributes Model 569-4230, Single-row tapered roller bearing (including inner ring, outer ring, rollers, and cage), used in drive axle differentials, gearbox output shafts, and wheel hub shaft systems. Quantity per unit: 1–2 pieces (depending on shaft end positioning requirements).
Key Dimensions Inner diameter 85 mm, outer diameter 150 mm, width 37 mm, cone angle 15°, tolerance grade ISO IT6, suitable shaft diameter 85 mm, mounting hole diameter 150 mm (H7 tolerance)
Material and Process High-carbon chromium bearing steel (SAE 52100), integral quenching + tempering, raceway ultra-precision grinding, hardness 60–64 HRC, cage is made of stamped steel plate, roller surface convex design to reduce edge stress.
Performance Parameters Radial rated dynamic load Cr≈115 kN, Axial rated dynamic load Ca≈55 kN, Rated static load C0r≈140 kN, suitable speed ≤3500 rpm, operating temperature -40℃ to +120℃
Compatible models: Cat 950/962 loaders, 320/330 excavators, some drive axle assemblies, gearbox output shaft
Installation and maintenance points:
Clean the bearing and mounting base before installation, ensuring no burrs or rust. The journal surface roughness Ra≤0.8 μm, and the mounting base roundness≤0.01 mm.
Use hot fitting (inner ring heated to 80–100℃) or cold pressing. Use specialized tooling to distribute force evenly, avoiding impact damage to the raceways and rollers.
After assembly, adjust the axial clearance (0.04–0.08 mm) according to the machine model’s maintenance manual to prevent bearing seizure or accelerated wear.
It is recommended to check the bearing temperature (≤80℃) and vibration every 2000 hours. If abnormal, disassemble and inspect, and replace worn parts.
