Cold press installation is required; pressure ≤25kN. Do not strike the end face to avoid deformation.
The bearing housing fit tolerance is J7. The interference fit between the outer ring and the bearing housing is 0.008-0.018mm to ensure space for thermal expansion and contraction.
After assembly with the inner ring (231-4085), the axial clearance should be controlled at 0.020-0.035mm, ensuring smooth rotation.
Use a special puller for disassembly to avoid damaging the bearing housing bore. When replacing, check the raceway for pitting and peeling.
