Installation and Fitting Points: The outer ring should have a transition fit with the seat bore (clearance 0.005-0.015mm). Use a special pressing tool for cold pressing installation. Do not strike to prevent raceway deformation and surface scratches.
Before installation, clean the seat bore and outer ring raceway, ensuring they are free of burrs, oil, and rust. Inspect the outer ring for cracks, pitting, and peeling, and ensure the locating groove is intact.
After installation, radial runout should be ≤0.02mm, and axial clearance after assembly with the inner ring and rollers should be 0.05-0.10mm. Operation should be smooth without jamming or abnormal noise. The amount of grease added should be 1/3-1/2 of the bearing cavity volume (NLGI Grade 2 lithium-based grease).
Disassembly should be done using a dedicated puller, applying force evenly to avoid damaging the bearing seat. Before reuse, check the raceway wear (replace if >0.10mm).
