CAT 594-5726 is a Caterpillar genuine straight-tube steel sleeve bearing, suitable for transmission or articulation parts in medium-duty construction machinery. The following are precise original specifications and application information, excluding replacement parts (Cat®)…
Core Technical Parameters
Item Details
Part Model: CAT 594-5726 (Straight-tube type bushing bearing)
Material: Low-alloy structural steel (AISI 4140), tempered hardness 28–32 HRC, inner hole surface hardened, hardness 58–62 HRC, Ra ≤ 0.4 μm
Key Dimensions: Inner diameter 45 mm (1.772 in), outer diameter 55 mm (2.165 in), length 40 mm (1.575 in), wall thickness 5 mm, fillet radius r=1.5 mm
Rated Parameters: Radial rated dynamic load 42.0 kN, radial rated static load 65.0 kN; operating temperature -30℃ ~ +120℃, suitable linear speed ≤ 3 m/s
Unit Weight: Approx. 0.13 kg (0.287 lbs)
Tolerance Standards: Inner diameter tolerance H7, outer diameter tolerance g6, coaxiality ≤ 0.01 mm, end face perpendicularity ≤ 0.01 mm
Surface Treatment: Outer surface anodized black, inner hole rolled and strengthened, improving fatigue resistance and wear resistance, suitable for oil lubrication conditions.
Structure and Core Characteristics:
Straight cylinder grooveless design: No internal or external grooves or oil holes, suitable for stable radial load conditions; compact structure, easy to install in confined spaces, such as connecting rod bushings, pin supports, etc.
Dual hardness layer structure: Inner hole quenching + matrix tempering, balancing surface wear resistance and matrix toughness, reducing the risk of cracking under impact loads, suitable for frequent start-stop and vibration conditions in construction machinery.
High-precision fit: H7/g6 tolerance fit, suitable for clearance assembly, reducing friction loss, improving component movement accuracy, and reducing vibration and noise.
Strong adaptability: 5 mm wall thickness design, balancing load-bearing capacity and lightweight, suitable for boom pins, steering knuckles, etc. in excavators and loaders.
Compatible Models and Application Scenarios
Compatible Equipment: Medium-sized equipment such as CAT 320GC/323GC excavators, 938M loaders, and 420F2 backhoe loaders.
Core Application: Used for radial support of boom pins, steering knuckles, connecting rods, etc., absorbing vibration, transmitting loads, and ensuring flexible operation of components. Suitable for medium to light load operations in infrastructure and municipal engineering.
Installation and Maintenance Points
Installation: Clean the shaft and bearing housing bore, removing burrs and oil stains. Inspect the bushing for cracks, deformation, and other defects.
Use the cold pressing method for installation. Apply pressure evenly to the end face using a special tool. Do not strike the inner hole. After installation, ensure an interference fit (0.010–0.020 mm) between the bushing and the housing bore, with no looseness.
After assembly, check the clearance between the inner hole and the shaft to be 0.015–0.030 mm to ensure smooth and unobstructed operation.
Maintenance: Regularly check the lubrication status. Oil bath or oil mist lubrication is recommended, using ISO VG 46 anti-wear hydraulic oil. Keep the oil temperature below 80℃.
When the inner bore wear exceeds 0.05 mm or pitting appears on the surface, replace the bushing promptly to prevent accelerated wear between the shaft and the housing bore.
Do not use non-genuine bushings, as differences in size and material can lead to premature component failure.
