CAT 616-2394 is a Caterpillar original equipment manufacturer (OEM) vibration isolation mounting sleeve used at the center bolt of vibration isolation bearings for components such as engines and hydraulic pumps. It serves to position, protect the bolt, and buffer vibration. It is compatible with Cat® 320GC/323GC excavators, 966M/972M loaders, and C7.1/C9.3 engines. The following are the core information and key points:

Performance Parameters: Rated axial load 15kN, radial load 10kN, applicable temperature -40℃ to 120℃, can withstand vibrations ≤20Hz and ≤5mm amplitude, anti-loosening torque ≥120N・m
Core Functions and Structure:
Positioning Guidance: Precise inner and outer diameters ensure accurate positioning of the vibration isolation bearing, preventing bolt misalignment, avoiding localized stress concentration, and ensuring uniform vibration isolation effect.
Protective Bolts: Isolates the bolts from the vibration isolation rubber, preventing rubber wear on the bolts, avoiding direct radial load on the bolts, and extending bolt life.
Vibration Buffering: Works with the vibration isolation bearing to absorb vibrations and impacts from the engine and pump, reducing transmission to the frame, improving operating comfort, and protecting surrounding components.
Installation and Maintenance Points:
Installation Specifications: Clean the sleeve, bolts, and seat holes, removing oil and rust; check the roundness of the seat holes to ≤0.01mm, and ensure the surface is free of scratches. Press the sleeve into the bearing seat hole when cold-fitting; do not strike the sleeve body. After installation, check the fit between the sleeve end face and the bearing (gap ≤ 0.01mm).
Apply anti-loosening adhesive to the bolts and tighten to the required torque of 280-300 N·m for M24 bolts, ensuring the sleeve and bolt are coaxial and avoiding uneven loading.
Maintenance Recommendations: Every 1000 working hours, check for: loosening, deformation, and corrosion of the sleeve; aging and cracking of the vibration isolation bearing; and whether the bolt torque meets the standard. Replace the sleeve and bearing immediately if any abnormalities are found.
Original 616-2394 sleeves must be used; ordinary steel sleeves cannot be substituted to avoid vibration isolation failure and bolt damage.
