CAT 625-7415 is a Caterpillar genuine hydraulic tilt cylinder bearing (shroud/sleeve) used in the tilt cylinder pivot of the bucket/boom of loaders, excavators, and graders. It provides support, guidance, and friction reduction, and is suitable for high-frequency oscillating conditions. It weighs approximately 0.45 kg. The following is professional structured information:
Core Technical Parameters (Professional Version)
Item Details
Basic Attributes
Model 625-7415, integral bushing bearing, outer diameter φ60 mm (2.362 in), inner diameter φ40 mm (1.575 in), length 75 mm (2.953 in), material is high-strength brass (CuZn24Al6, HB 110-130) + PTFE self-lubricating coating, weight 0.45 kg, rated radial load 12 kN, operating temperature -40℃ to +120℃
Key Dimensions
Wall thickness 10 mm, chamfered ends 2×45°, inner hole fit tolerance +0.015/-0.005 mm, radial runout ≤0.03 mm, end face perpendicularity ≤0.04 mm, mounting groove width 12 mm, depth 3 mm (for fixing the retaining ring).
Material and Process: Base body is CuZn24Al6 brass, inner hole is coated with 0.2-0.3 mm PTFE + bronze powder composite coating (friction coefficient ≤0.08), surface is tin-plated, corrosion resistance rating IP65, lubrication method is self-lubricating (no additional grease required), wear rate ≤0.001 mm/1000 hours.
Compatible Models: Compatible with the tilt cylinder pivot of Cat 938K/950GC loaders, 320GC/330GC excavators, and 140M/160M graders; also used for the tilt cylinder of the working device of IT62G tool carriers and AP655F asphalt pavers.
Assembly and Fit The bearing should have an interference fit with the cylinder clevis (0.01-0.02 mm) and a clearance fit with the pivot (0.015-0.025 mm). The preload of the retaining ring should be 5-8 kN, and the clearance between the bearing end face and the clevis should be ≤0.15 mm.
Installation and Maintenance Points:
Before installation, check the bearing inner bore for scratches and coating peeling. Clean the clevis hole and pivot, removing rust and burrs. Do not hammer during installation; it is recommended to use a cold-pressing tool to press it into place.
After installation, check the bearing’s rotational flexibility for any jamming or abnormal noise. Ensure the retaining ring is fully embedded in the mounting slot to prevent axial movement of the bearing.
Maintenance Cycle: Check the bearing clearance every 2000 hours. When the clearance is >0.1 mm or the coating is worn and exposing the substrate, replace the bearing immediately. It is recommended to replace the bearing during a major overhaul of the tilting cylinder.
