Installation and Maintenance Points: Before installation, clean the inner bore of the bearing cap, the stop, and the trunnion surface. Inspect the O-ring (material NBR 70, undamaged). Apply lithium-based grease (NLGI grade 2) to the sealing groove. After positioning with the guide sleeve, tighten the bolts evenly (in a crisscross sequence, tightening in 2–3 stages to the target torque).
Clearance Control: The clearance between the bearing cap and the bearing outer ring end face should be 0.05–0.10 mm (controlled by adjusting shims to 0.05 mm/0.1 mm specifications) to prevent excessive bearing preload leading to temperature rise.
Lubrication Requirements: After installation, add extreme pressure lithium-based grease until overflowing (grease amount ≥150 g). Check the grease level every 500 hours and replenish grease every 1000 hours to avoid dry friction causing bearing pitting.
