Installation and Maintenance Points: Before installation, clean the bearing assembly, journal, and bearing housing bore, checking for scratches, rust, and cracks. Measure the dimensions of the journal and bearing housing bore to ensure the fit meets requirements. The journal fillet radius should be ≤1.0 mm to avoid stress concentration at the needle roller ends.
Use the cold-press installation method. Use a special press to first press the bearing housing into the bearing housing, then fit the needle roller cage onto the journal. Do not directly strike the needle rollers or bearing housing to prevent deformation of the needle rollers and chipping of the bearing housing edges. After installation, adjust the axial preload to 15-25 N·m to ensure no axial movement.
Lubrication and maintenance: Grease filling amount should be 20-30% of the bearing internal space (Cat Moly Grease recommended). Oil lubrication is prohibited (suitable for low-speed conditions). Check bearing wear and clearance every 600 hours. If needle rollers show indentations, seat ring wear exceeds 0.1 mm, or radial clearance exceeds 0.15 mm, replace the bearing immediately.
