Bearing Positioning: Installed at the output end of the final drive planetary carrier, pressing the bearing outer ring to limit axial displacement, suitable for the axial positioning requirements of single-row deep groove ball bearings/tapered roller bearings.
Shaft end locking: Secured to the final drive housing by bolt preload, preventing shaft end components from loosening, transmitting part of the axial load, and adaptable to vibration and impact environments under heavy load conditions.
Sealing aid: Forms a static seal with an O-ring (model 12-1987, outer diameter 130mm, inner diameter 120mm, cross-section 3.5mm) to prevent gear oil leakage and dust intrusion.
Typical location: Output shaft end of the final drive planetary carrier, bearing housing end face, used to connect the final drive housing and the planetary carrier, position the bearing, and lock the shaft end nut.
Installation and maintenance points:
Before installation: Clean the contact surfaces of the retainer and housing, checking for deformation, cracks, or thread damage; install the O-ring and apply grease, ensuring the sealing surface is clean and free of foreign matter.
During installation: Position the retainer with locating pins (stop fit), diagonally and evenly tighten the M12 bolts to 85-95 Nm, check that the runout of the retainer end face is ≤0.1mm and there is no misalignment.
Maintenance and replacement: Check the bolt torque and sealing condition every 5000 hours. If oil leakage, loose bolts or deformation of the fastener are found, replace immediately. Welding repair is prohibited.
